Ornamental by Lameice is looking for a contributing writer ( Volunteer ) to collaborate on Ornamental Gazette, blog and Substack our editorial platform exploring the intersection of art, design, and living well.
We are seeking someone with a poetic eye and genuine curiosity for:
- The art of the table
- Contemporary and historic design worlds
- Glassware and collectible objects
- Artisanal practices and craftsmanship
This is a volunteer/contributor role (remote, flexible). Ideal for writers, emerging journalists, or design enthusiasts who wish to build their portfolio while working with a young but ambitious creative brand.
What you’ll do:
- Research and write thoughtful articles aligned with our editorial voice (whimsical, elegant, cultured).
- Explore topics ranging from the ritual of dining, to contemporary design, to the craft traditions that inspire living beautifully.
- Contribute to the early issues of Ornamental Gazette and shape its growing editorial universe.
What we’re looking for:

- Interest in art, design, or cultural storytelling.
