MID TO SENIOR – CONTRACT 3D ENVIRONMENT & PROP ARTIST (STYLIZED) : REMOTE

Overview :
We are building a stylized, vibrant and fantastical world and We are looking for a talented Mid to Senior 3D Environment Artist who has a taste for Stylized art and can create immersive, optimized virtual worlds by modeling, texturing, and lighting 3D assets in Unity. They collaborate with designers to build, set-dress, and optimize, ensuring high performance (low latency/high framerate) and visual consistency in 360-degree environments for our games.
Experience needed :
Mid to Senior ((Minimum 3+ years of Work Experience)
Artist’s Location :
Artists based in India preferred.
We’re looking for someone with :
– Art style:
Experience and deep interest in stylized hand-painted art
– Ownership :
Able to own the environment design and fill gaps in 3d that might be missed in 2d.
– Great sense of Composition and Foundation about how to navigate the players eye
– Portfolio:
Strong portfolio demonstrating, modeling , texturing, and lighting skills, particularly in VR or real-time projects.
– Software Proficiency:
Experience with 3D modeling tools like Maya and texturing software (Substance Suite, Photoshop) with Optimised assets presented in unity or unreal (Unity is a bonus)
– Engine Knowledge:
Strong experience with Unity preferred, Should be proficient with the concept of P workflow with Unity 3D
– Technical Art
Skills:
Knowledge of shaders, UV mapping, and lighting.
– Collaborate with designers and concept artists to create an experience that players do not forget.
– Advocate for the player experience, ensuring every interaction is fun, surprising, and memorable.
