Position: Academic Staff Needed for Art Course
The University of Winnipeg is hiring Contract Academic Staff to teach Art History in the Fall semester. Lead the course ‘Cross Currents in Global Art’ in an engaging, dynamic environment.

This contract role encompasses teaching responsibilities from August 17, 2026, through January 25, 2027, with classes scheduled for M/W/F mornings. Manage a diverse group of around 60 students and cover essential art history topics from ancient to modern periods. Applicants are expected to have a Post M.A. (ABD preferred) to ensure high-quality education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Educate on historical developments in art

• Design and evaluate course content and assessments

• Foster a collaborative learning environment

• Guide students in art historical analysis

• Collaborate with faculty for curriculum improvement

Requirements:

• Post M.A. studies; ABD preferred

• Teaching experience preferred in higher education
