This role is for a strategic creative who uses AI to amplify not replace traditional filmmaking craft. You aren’t just a prompter, you are a visual director who uses generative tools to build high end assets, then applies expert editing, curation, and human judgment to turn raw outputs into polished, brand aligned stories. Your value lies in knowing how to blend the speed of AI with the precision of a professional editor to deliver high-impact video content in a fraction of the traditional time.
Core Responsibilities
- AI-Assisted Production: Use generative tools (e.g., Runway, Luma, or Leonardo) to create high-quality b-roll, textures, and visual assets that would otherwise require a full film crew.
- Precision Editing: Assemble raw AI outputs into a cohesive narrative using Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
- Visual Correction: Identify and fix AI "glitches" or inconsistencies through traditional masking, color grading, and frame-by-frame cleanup.
- Audio & Voice Integration: Manage AI voiceover generation (e.g., ElevenLabs) and sync it perfectly with visual pacing and music.
- Style Consistency: Ensure that every AI-generated clip matches the brand’s specific color palette, mood, and "minimalist/professional" aesthetic.
- Rapid Prototyping: Quickly turn a script into a visual storyboard or "mood film" to get client approval before moving into high-res production.
Qualifications
- The "Editor's Eye": A deep understanding of pacing, rhythm, and cinematic composition. You must know why a cut works, not just how to make one.
- Tool Fluency: Practical experience with AI video generators (Runway, Kling, or Pika) and image tools (Midjourney or Flux).
- Post-Production Mastery: Proficient in Premiere Pro and After Effects. You should be able to blend AI footage with stock or real footage seamlessly.
- Strategic Judgment: The ability to decide when AI is the right tool and when traditional methods are better for the project’s ROI.
