About Le Creuset

At Le Creuset, every dish begins with a story – and every story begins with people. Since 1925, we’ve brought generations together around the table, transforming everyday meals into cherished memories. Our legacy is built on colour, craft, and a deep passion for innovation – shaped as much by our iconic products as by the people who bring them to life. We’re not just creating cookware; we’re creating moments that last a lifetime. If you’re inspired by heritage, driven by creativity, and ready to shape the future of the kitchen, we’d love to welcome you into our story.

Le Creuset is a global lifestyle brand that brings people together through food and cooking. Japan is a strategic market with over 50 directly operated stores and more than 35 years of brand presence. We continue to invest in Japan for the long term, including our company‑owned Tokyo office, reflecting strong commitment and confidence in the market’s future.

Our culture is professional, collaborative, and rooted in a genuine passion for food. This role offers the opportunity to join a respected global brand at an important stage of growth in Japan, supporting core accounting operations and contributing to a finance team focused on accuracy, control, and continuous improvement.

The Recipe for Success: Role Summary

The Amazon Business Lead owns revenue growth for Le Creuset’s Amazon Japan business — one of the company’s most strategically important and fastest-growing sales channels. This is first and foremost a sales role: you are accountable for hitting ambitious revenue targets, building a strong commercial relationship with Amazon, and unlocking the full sales potential of the platform.

You will operate the channel hands-on through Amazon Vendor Central, bringing deep platform expertise to every decision — from purchase order management and pricing strategy to content optimization and advertising execution. You know how Amazon works, what levers drive sales, and how to push for results.

The ideal candidate is a proven Amazon operator who is commercially aggressive, analytically sharp, and driven to grow. You do not wait for sales to happen — you make them happen. At the same time, you know how to sell without sacrificing the premium positioning that defines the Le Creuset brand.

Ingredients: Key Responsibilities

  • Amazon Business Management
  • Own and grow Le Creuset’s Amazon Japan business end-to-end, operating hands-on in Vendor Central across purchasing, pricing, inventory, content, and advertising.
  • Hit annual and quarterly revenue targets by proactively identifying and executing on commercial opportunities — campaigns, deals, seasonal moments, and new product launches.
  • Cultivate and leverage a strong commercial relationship with Amazon’s Brand Specialist and Vendor Manager teams to negotiate better terms, secure incremental investment, and drive joint business planning.
  • Own pricing, assortment, and competitive positioning on Amazon, proactively identifying gaps and opportunities to capture sales without compromising brand equity.
  • Commercial Planning & Execution
  • Build and execute an annual commercial calendar on Amazon — Prime Day, seasonal gifting, brand campaigns — that consistently drives top-line growth.
  • Drive pricing strategy that maximizes revenue and margin, defending against unauthorized discounting and MAP violations while staying competitive.
  • Lead business planning and commercial reviews for the Amazon channel, presenting performance, outlook, and recommendations with clarity and conviction.
  • Manage the Amazon channel P&L, making smart trade-offs between volume, margin, promotional investment, and brand positioning to deliver profitable growth.
  • Content & Customer Experience
  • Optimize product listings, titles, descriptions, images, and A+ content to improve discoverability, conversion, and premium brand presentation.
  • Ensure that the Le Creuset brand is presented consistently and compellingly across the platform.
  • Monitor customer feedback and reviews to identify opportunities to improve customer experience and execution quality.
  • Advertising & Performance Optimization
  • Manage Sponsored Ads and DSP campaigns to improve traffic quality, conversion, and return on advertising spend.
  • Track KPIs and campaign effectiveness rigorously, adjusting spend, targeting, and creative to maximize return on every yen invested.
  • Recommend actions to improve performance based on data and commercial priorities.
  • Inventory & Operations Management
  • Proactively manage inventory levels and replenishment in Vendor Central to ensure product availability — because lost stock means lost sales.
  • Coordinate with relevant internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational issues.
  • Support disciplined execution across forecasting, stock flow, and channel operations.
  • Business Analysis & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Analyze sales, traffic, conversion, and advertising performance to generate actionable insight.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Retail, Logistics, and other relevant teams to support launches, campaigns, and commercial plans.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and Amazon stakeholders to deliver strong execution.
  • Maintain premium brand positioning while supporting pricing discipline and profitable growth.

The Perfect Blend: What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of direct, hands-on experience operating Amazon Vendor Central — including purchase order management, pricing, A+ content, and Sponsored Ads. You must be able to navigate the platform independently from day one.
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with sales, traffic, conversion, and advertising performance data.
  • Excel proficiency.
  • Cross-functional coordination experience.
  • A demonstrable track record of growing sales on Amazon Japan, with examples of commercial wins you personally drove.
  • Native-level Japanese.
  • Demonstrated track record of career stability and commitment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with Amazon’s Brand Specialist or Vendor Manager teams to negotiate promotional events, secure incremental co-op investment, or expand assortment.
  • Retail, consumer goods, or e-commerce experience.
  • Business-level English.
  • Experience with Amazon Sponsored Ads, DSP, A+ content, or marketplace content optimization.
