To lead and manage CSR projects focused on artisan livelihood development and handicraft promotion. The role will be responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating projects that strengthen artisan ecosystems, improve market access, enhance income opportunities, and create sustainable social impact.
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive CSR project planning, raising fund requests, budgeting, implementation, monitoring, and impact assessment and drafting MoU in line with approved CSR objectives and statutory requirements.
- Implement Project Cycle Management across focus areas such as Livelihoods, Skill Development, Education, Health & Wellness, and Rural Development.
- Facilitate market access initiatives including exhibitions, buyer-seller meets, branding, packaging improvements, digital marketing, and e-commerce opportunities for artisan communities.
- Plan, develop, implement, and monitor the Company's CSR initiatives with a special focus on artisan-based livelihood development programs, particularly traditional handicrafts such as Dokra and other indigenous crafts.
- Design and execute sustainable livelihood interventions for artisan communities through skill enhancement, market linkage development, product diversification, entrepreneurship promotion, and capacity-building initiatives.
- Identify and engage with artisan groups, self-help groups (SHGs), producer collectives, NGOs, government agencies, and other stakeholders to strengthen handicraft ecosystems.
- Liaise with government departments, development agencies, and local authorities for project approvals, partnerships, convergence opportunities, and compliance requirements.
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor project progress, assess impact, identify challenges, and ensure timely implementation of project activities.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders regarding project requirements, audits, impact assessments, and compliance-related activities.
- Manage CSR assets and resources deployed across project locations.
- Stay updated on CSR regulations, livelihood development trends, handicraft sector developments, and best practices in community engagement.
- Prepare periodic MIS, project reports, impact assessment reports, presentations, and updates for management and statutory reporting.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in planning and implementing handicraft-based livelihood projects, preferably involving Dokra artisans and traditional craft clusters.
- Understanding of artisan value chains, cluster development, rural livelihoods, social enterprise models, and market linkage strategies.
- Experience working with NGOs, artisan cooperatives, SHGs, producer companies, government agencies, and development sector stakeholders.
- Exposure to community mobilization, capacity building, skill development, and income-generation programs.
