About The Job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Paris within the Front of the House Department in Paris, the Assistant Concierge is responsible for managing the administrative processing of guest requests, updating files, and tracking reservations. He/She coordinates internal services between departments (front office, maintenance, etc.) and handles specific guest requests, such as booking transportation or activities. He/She provides support to the Concierge, prepares reports, and responds to inquiries by phone or email. This position requires strong organizational skills, good command of computer tools, and experience in customer service or hospitality. The role operates in a dynamic environment while ensuring highquality service.

As Assistant Concierge, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Engage in targeted conversations with guests to identify their personal preferences and proactively anticipate all their needs to ensure a unique and successful experience.
  • Provide clear guidance to guests traveling outside the hotel and respond to all requests using appropriate communication skills.
  • Record all guest requests, bookings, and confirmations daily in GoConcierge, and communicate key details to management and colleagues regarding internal and external events.
  • Assist guests with recommendations, reservations, and arrangements for sightseeing, excursions, culinary, artistic, and cultural activities, as well as flight confirmations or bookings.
  • Recommend and book restaurants, bars, clubs, entertainment, and leisure activities according to guest preferences, and organize limousine transportation while maximizing related revenue.
  • Maintain indepth knowledge of Paris and its surroundings—including transportation, restaurants, bars, clubs, shops, tours, and cultural activities—to provide personalized and insightful recommendations.
  • Build strong guest relationships and ensure satisfaction from arrival to departure in line with MOHG’s Legendary Quality Experiences, MOHG Pillars, and service standards.
