What You'll Be Doing

The Associate Creative Director (ACD) will play a pivotal role in shaping and elevating Plaza Premium Group’s global creative output. Reporting to the Global Creative Director, this role bridges strategy and execution—leading multidisciplinary design initiatives across brand, marketing, F&B concepts, and airport environments.

The ACD will oversee a Hong Kong–based team while managing remote collaborators across North Asia, Southeast Asia, and global markets. This role requires a strong balance of creative vision, operational leadership, and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring cohesive and high-quality design solutions across every touchpoint.

Creative Leadership & Execution

  • Lead the development and execution of high-impact creative work across brand, marketing, and environmental design
  • Translate strategic briefs into compelling visual storytelling across digital and physical platforms
  • Ensure consistency and excellence in creative output aligned with PPG’s global brand standards

Brand & F&B Concept Development

  • Partner with Culinary and Brand teams to conceptualise and develop visual identities for new F&B concepts
  • Create distinctive, scalable brand worlds—from naming and identity through to in-space applications
  • Oversee design systems including typography, color, packaging, menus, and marketing collateral

Marketing & Collateral Development

  • Drive the creation of global and regional marketing assets (campaigns, toolkits, digital content, print collateral)
  • Collaborate with Marketing teams to deliver effective, on-brand creative solutions for launches and promotions
  • Maintain a balance between speed, quality, and brand consistency

Wayfinding, Signage & Environmental Design

  • Collaborate closely with Projects and Interiors teams on wayfinding and signage strategies
  • Ensure alignment between spatial design, customer experience, and brand identity within lounge and F&B environments
  • Review and guide creative deliverables for built environments, ensuring feasibility and quality

Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the key creative partner to internal stakeholders across Marketing, Culinary, Brand, and Projects
  • Manage and prioritise multiple cross-functional requests across regions
  • Present creative concepts and rationale clearly to senior stakeholders

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of designers based in Hong Kong
  • Manage remote creative resources across North Asia, SEA, and global teams
  • Build a strong creative culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Provide clear direction, feedback, and development pathways for team members

About you:

Experience

  • 8–12+ years of experience in creative / design roles, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership capacity
  • Experience working across hospitality, F&B, retail, or lifestyle brands—preferably in multi-location or international contexts
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating brand identity, campaign work, and environmental / spatial applications

Skills & Capabilities

  • Strong conceptual thinker with a high level of craft across typography, visual identity, and storytelling
  • Experience building and scaling brands, particularly in F&B or experience-led environments
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and multiple stakeholders across regions
  • Confident in leading presentations and articulating creative rationale

Leadership

  • Experience managing both in-person and remote teams
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Collaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset

Technical

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Understanding of production processes across print, digital, and environmental graphics
  • Familiarity with wayfinding systems and spatial branding is a strong advantage
