Position: Backcountry Videographer Needed – Northern Alberta (Next Week)
Location: Petrolia
We’re looking for a videographer for a 2–3 day backcountry shoot in remote Northern Alberta next week.
Project Overview
Outdoor/backcountry filming with a small, efficient team. Focus is strictly on capturing high-quality footage. No editing required.
Responsibilities
- Capture cinematic video footage in a remote outdoor environment
- Work collaboratively with a small team and follow creative direction
- Operate efficiently in changing weather and terrain conditions
Requirements
- Experience with outdoor, lifestyle, or documentary-style videography
- Comfortable working in remote/backcountry environments
- Strong understanding of camera operation, composition, and lighting
- Reliable transportation to access remote locations
Assets (Nice to Have)
- Own professional video gear
- Experience filming wildlife, hunting, or outdoor content
- Drone experience (with proper licensing)
