We are looking for an energetic, kind, reliable, addition to our team. If you enjoy working with people and you take pride in your amazing customer service skills, we would love to talk to you!
We are a unique shop on AMI that has a coffee, wine and craft beer bar in the front of our shop and a retail section in back that has unique items ranging from local art to fun souvenirs. This position will involve all aspects of our shop.
Responsibilities include:
- Greet customers with a genuine friendly, welcoming attitude.
- Accurately take customer orders and process cash and card payments.
- Prepare specialty coffee and espresso drinks, smoothies, lemonades and other items on our menu to our high standards.
- Plate and serve our selection of bakery items.
- Stock beverage station and other inventory throughout the day.
- Keep the café clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness of the espresso machine, workstations, dining area, and front counter.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
- Work as a team to provide fast, friendly, and exceptional customer service.
- Receive orders on all product and verify it is correct.
- Keep the retail section stocked and clean at all times.
- Be open to learning about all of our products and artists to be able to answer customer questions througholy.
Qualifications
- Previous barista or café experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.
- Cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) experience preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills a must.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy hours. Ability to keep busy during slower times.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Pay: $14-$25 per hour (includes tips)
