About The Role

As we prepare to open the doors to our very first tashas café in Greece, we are looking for passionate and personable Bartenders to join our opening team.

At tashas, every interaction matters. Our bars are more than places where drinks are prepared — they are spaces where hospitality comes to life through thoughtful service, attention to detail and genuine connection. Whether crafting a perfectly balanced cocktail, serving a fresh juice, recommending a wine or simply creating a welcoming atmosphere, our bartenders play an important role in shaping the guest experience.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a landmark opening and help establish the standards, culture and hospitality that will define tashas Vouliagmeni from day one.

Your Mission

You will create exceptional beverage experiences while delivering warm, engaging hospitality to every guest.

By combining technical skill, product knowledge and genuine care, you will ensure every drink is crafted beautifully, every guest feels welcome, and every experience reflects the standards and spirit of tashas.

What You'll Be Doing

Beverage Preparation & Service

  • Prepare and serve cocktails, wines, coffees, juices and other beverages to the highest standards of quality and consistency.
  • Follow recipes, preparation methods and presentation standards with precision and attention to detail.
  • Ensure every beverage leaving the bar meets our expectations for quality, taste and presentation.
  • Prioritise orders effectively during busy service periods while maintaining excellence and consistency.
  • Monitor the quality and freshness of ingredients, juices, garnishes, syrups and beverage preparations.
  • Support the development of beverage experiences that enhance the overall guest journey.

Guest Experience

  • Welcome guests warmly and create a relaxed, engaging and memorable atmosphere.
  • Build genuine connections through attentive, personalised service.
  • Confidently guide guests through our beverage and wine offerings, providing thoughtful recommendations.
  • Share knowledge of ingredients, flavour profiles, preparation methods and menu inspirations.
  • Anticipate guest needs and deliver service with professionalism, warmth and care.
  • Handle guest feedback and requests thoughtfully, ensuring a positive experience at every stage.
  • Help create moments that encourage guests to return again and again.

Bar Operations & Organisation

  • Ensure all bar stations, counters, equipment and service areas are clean, organised and fully prepared before, during and after service.
  • Maintain appropriate stock levels and support inventory control procedures.
  • Minimise waste through careful preparation and responsible stock management.
  • Ensure glassware, bar tools, garnishes and supplies are consistently replenished and presentation-ready.
  • Operate POS systems accurately and process guest payments in line with company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate beverage ordering and billing practices.

Teamwork & Culture

  • Work closely with front-of-house, kitchen and management teams to deliver a seamless guest experience.
  • Support the onboarding and development of new team members.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative working environment built on respect and teamwork.
  • Embody the values, culture and hospitality philosophy of tashas in every interaction.
  • Participate actively in daily briefings, training sessions and team development initiatives.

Quality & Continuous Improvement

  • Stay informed about beverage trends, products and industry developments.
  • Contribute ideas and creative thinking to beverage offerings and guest experiences.
  • Take ownership of personal growth and continuously refine technical and service skills.
  • Maintain consistently high standards across every aspect of the role.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Adhere to all local health, safety and food handling regulations.
  • Follow HACCP procedures and company standards at all times.
  • Ensure workstations, equipment, utensils and storage areas are clean, sanitised and maintained.
  • Handle food products, beverages and cleaning materials safely and responsibly.
  • Monitor responsible alcohol service practices and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Report maintenance issues, equipment concerns or safety risks promptly.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Bartender in a quality restaurant, café, hotel or hospitality environment.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits and beverage preparation techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence engaging with guests and making personalised recommendations.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency.
  • A positive attitude and collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • The ability to remain calm, organised and professional in a fast-paced environment.
  • Curiosity, creativity and a desire to continuously learn and develop.
