POSITION: BIM Modeler – Computational Design & Facades

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a BIM Modeler with a strong foundation in computational geometry and parametric design. The role is focused on complex facade and roofing projects, working at the intersection of Rhino, Grasshopper, and Revit to develop panel systems, geometric rationalisation, and fabrication-ready BIM models.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develop BIM models for facade and roofing systems using Autodesk Revit and Rhino 3D
2. Use Grasshopper for parametric panel generation, geometric rationalisation, and surface panelisation workflows
3. Rationalise complex double-curved surfaces into manufacturable panel types
4. Produce fabrication drawings, panel schedules, and shop drawing documentation from BIM models
5. Assist in Revit family creation for custom facade components, mullion profiles, and bracket systems
6. Coordinate with the design lead on model integration and drawing issue workflows
REQUIRED SKILLS
– Rhino 3D – complex surface and solid modelling
– Grasshopper -parametric and data-driven design workflows
– Autodesk Revit – BIM modelling and drawing documentation
– Panel rationalisation on curved and double-curved surfaces
– Understanding of facade systems – glazing, aluminium framing, cladding
– Fabrication drawing production and shop drawing documentation
QUALIFICATIONS
– B.Arch / M.Arch / B.E. Civil / Diploma in Architecture or related field
– 1–2 years hands-on experience in BIM modelling with a facade or computational design focus
– Portfolio demonstrating Rhino / Grasshopper work , surface panelisation or geometric design preferred
