Must-Have Qualifications
- 3–6 years of experience in presentation design, with advanced proficiency in Google Slides and Keynote
- Comfortable developing visual narratives through storyboarding and collaborating on motion-focused projects
- Proven experience creating presentations, social assets, and marketing collateral for brand or marketing initiatives
- Strong working knowledge of motion design principles; After Effects experience is a plus
- Expert proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Google Workspace
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience working within leading technology companies or similarly fast-paced, high-growth organizations
- Previous agency experience supporting multiple brands, campaigns, or clients
- Self-starter who is comfortable taking ownership of projects and jumping in where needed
- Able to focus on and fully commit to the role, with the capacity to manage priorities without significant competing project commitments

As a Designer in this role you will flex across our Core Brand Design Team in support of all Pinterest Business Marketing initiatives. Some days you’ll create presentations and digital assets for our global sales team, others on in-product surfaces, campaigns, and social. You'll sit on a team of designers, partner closely with writers, and collaborate with XFN subject matter experts and stakeholders to shape, create and scale this content. You’ll bring a strong POV on how to approach each project most meaningfully and impactfully, and inform how visuals will aid and improve our core marketing messages.
What you'll do:
- Work through complex design problems to create beautiful solutions that help drive Pinterest Business Marketing messaging
- Think and design laterally across key communications channels
- Act as both partner and expert in how visuals pair with and improve compelling writing
- Extend both core brand guidelines and specific campaign creative to presentations, in-product surfaces, and digital and social assets
- Ensure accurate representation of product UI in marketing assets
- Design and update internal + external presentations to align with our brand/style guidelines
- Transform complex, copy-heavy slides into digestible pieces of on-message visual content
- Both give and receive creative feedback among teammates and cross-functional partners
- Present work and provide rationale for design choices to creative leadership and cross functional partners
What we’re looking for:
- An outstanding portfolio with exceptional aesthetic and a thoughtful, intelligent approach to solving visual problems
- 3-6 years of experience as a designer in an agency or in-house design role
- Diverse experience with visual storytelling through digital and print that includes campaign work, experiential marketing, brand development and presentation design
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Strong collaborative and communication skills to work on a close-knit team
- Ability to balance multiple projects at once, prioritize deadlines, and move projects forward
- Strong grasp of design craft across a wide variety of formats / mediums
- Experience designer presentations, social assets, and marketing collateral
- Experience with motion and After Effects is a plus
- Understanding of current culture and trends and forecasting
- Expert knowledge of Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Suite
This is a contract position at Pinterest. As such, the contractor who fills this role will be employed either by our staffing partner (Magnit) or by an agency partner, and not an employee of Pinterest.
