The Opportunity
We are seeking a high-energy, new-logo-focused Business Development Director to join ForteNext’s growth engine. This is an individual contributor role for a "hunter" who excels at navigating the Salesforce ecosystem to identify, pursue, and close high-value enterprise opportunities. You will be driving sales pursuits, together with the wider team, positioning ForteNext as a strategic partner for Salesforce-driven digital transformation.
We are looking for a market maker who understands that value is derived from strategic architectural transformation and measurable business outcomes, rather than just billable headcount.
Key Responsibilities
1. Drive New-Logo Acquisition
- Own the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting and initial outreach to closing high-value enterprise contracts.
- Pursue and close net-new client opportunities, consistently hitting or exceeding individual revenue targets.
- Engage confidently at the VP and CXO level, positioning ForteNext as a premier Salesforce implementation and managed services partner.
- Build and maintain a robust, qualified pipeline with rigorous forecasting discipline.
2. Execute GTM Strategy
- Execute targeted demand generation campaigns in collaboration with the Marketing team.
- Leverage Salesforce-specific GTM partnerships and AI-enabled prospecting tools to identify untapped market opportunities.
- Partner with Solution Architects and Delivery teams to craft compelling, differentiated proposals tailored to specific client needs.
- Bring structured market intelligence back to leadership to help sharpen our service offerings and competitive strategy.
3. Operational Excellence
- Take full ownership of individual KPIs, including pipeline activity, ACV (Annual Contract Value), and win rates.
- Utilize modern sales operations tools and AI-enabled workflow automation to maximize sales efficiency.
- Partner with the Account Management team to ensure seamless client handoffs and protect long-term retention.
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Expertise
- 7+ years in business development or enterprise sales within the Salesforce ecosystem, ideally with a Salesforce Consulting Partner.
- Proven track record of opening doors and closing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise
- pursuits independently.
- Strong grasp of Salesforce Clouds (Commerce, Sales, Service, Marketing) and a keen interest in AI-driven CRM solutions (e.g., Agentforce).
- Experience selling a diverse range of delivery models, including managed services and staff augmentation.
