Business Development Manager / Executive
The selected candidate will work closely with the Founding Directors to streamline business operations, manage new business opportunities, and serve as the firm's trusted face to high-profile clients. Responsibilities include managing executive priorities, guiding initial inquiries through to successful project kick-offs, leading the competitive tender bidding process, and collaborating with the Project and Communications teams to craft visually appealing service proposals. The candidate will negotiate project pricing, contracts, and legal terms with tact, and coordinate with the Project and Finance teams to streamline commercial management and billing, ensuring clear communication and collaborative partnerships that drive the firm’s success.
Essentials
- Languages: Excellent spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, with the ability to present confidently and professionally.
- Numerical Skills: Strong with numbers, demonstrating high accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Legal Studies, Architecture, Surveying, Construction, or any related discipline.
- Experience: Proven experience in business management, sales & marketing, account management, commercial contracts, art, design, construction, property development, or any related field.
- Cat-Friendly: Comfortable around cats, as our studio is also home to three kittens.

- Commercial Acumen: Able to read, review, and confidently discuss commercial contracts, price structures, and terms.
- Hospitality Mindset: Highly proactive and exceptionally organized, possessing the emotional intelligence to navigate difficult client conversations with grace and firmness.
- Design Sensitivity: While a professional design background is not required, a strong appreciation for art, design, and lifestyle is highly valued.
- Global Perspective: Ability to communicate and work effectively with clients from Hong Kong and internationally.
- Team Player: A versatile collaborator who can easily shift between leading initiatives and supporting the wider team.
- Digital & AI Proficiency: Proficiency in the use of digital and AI tools to enhance daily workflows and productivity.
- Availability: Immediate availability to start is highly preferred.
