We are looking to build our database of highly qualified business journalist that would be interested in being considered for freelance work with our company. Renumeration would be on a per article basis and applicants would need to be self employed freelancers.
The Business Journalist when commissioned to write for our publications, would be responsible for producing high-quality articles and news stories related to the grocery retail and FMCG sectors. in Europe. This would involve conducting interviews, researching current trends, writing compelling content, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness in reporting.
Qualifications
- Experience in Business Journalism and Journalism, with a strong aptitude for producing industry-specific content
- Proficiency in Writing and News Writing to craft compelling and accurate stories
- Skill in drafting, editing, and disseminating Press Releases
- Strong research and communication skills to identify and analyse business trends
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote work environment
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of the retail industry a plus
- Video editing/production a benefit but not required
