We're looking for an experienced Cabinet Maker who takes pride in precision, enjoys solving challenges, and believes that "good enough" simply isn't good enough.If you're someone who notices the smallest details, enjoys working with high-quality materials, and wants to be part of a growing company where your work is appreciated, we'd love to meet you.
What you will be doing:As a Cabinet Maker, you'll be involved in all aspects of custom millwork production, including, but not limited to:

  • Reading and interpreting shop drawings and production plans
  • Building custom cabinetry and architectural millwork
  • Cutting, machining, assembling and finishing cabinet components 
  • Installing hardware including drawer slides, hinges, organizers and specialty components
  • Ensuring finished products meet Oakstone's quality standards
  • Working collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines
  • Maintaining a clean, organized and safe work environment
  • Problem solving and suggesting improvements when challenges arise
  • Operating woodworking machinery safely and efficiently, including, but not limited to:
  • Table saw
  • Edge bander
  • CNC equipment (experience considered an asset)
  • Drill press
  • Router
  • Sanders  

  

What we are looking forThe ideal candidate will have:

  • 4 + years of cabinet making or custom millwork experience
  • Strong understanding of woodworking techniques
  • Ability to read shop drawings independently
  • Experience with laminate, veneer, hardwood and melamine products
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Pride in producing high-quality work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Reliable transportation

Bonus SkillsExperience with:

  • CNC programming or operation
  • Mozaik
  • AutoCAD
  • Installation experience
  • Commercial Millwork
  • Solid Surface Fabrication

Compensation$25 – $32 per hourCompensation will be based on experience, skill level and overall fit.
