Our client, a leader in global luxury beauty, is looking to bring on an experienced Change Manager to help with multiple transformation projects.

This is a contract role with an ASAP start date and will go 6 months from start (until Jan 2027). The team is open to remote candidates, but the selected candidate must work within the EST time zone.

This team is targeting candidates with a background in Finance. They are open to candidates who have held Finance roles and have transitioned into Comms/OD/Change Management roles OR someone who has worked on Finance focus projects or teams

We are seeking a Director, Change Management to design and execute the people-side plans. Working within established transformation programs, you will translate high-level change strategies into concrete, actionable plans — and then drive their delivery with rigor and discipl

ine.We are looking for someone who has experience in both Consulting and in enabling and embedding change in the realities of a large, in-house environment. You bring structured methodology, external best practice, and a practical hands-on approach.

  • Support Execution of Comms Plan, synthesizing complex inputs into clear messaging, tracking risks and dependencies, and elevating key issues to leadership to support informed decision-making and successful execution across the Finance Tower
  • Drive stakeholder engagement strategy and execution, including building out content for SteerCo and Total Team Updates, standing up and managing a global Finance Change Champion Network, ensuring consistent communication, feedback loops, and leader-led adoption across regions and functions.
  • Support multi-wave training development and deployment, including content build, validation, train-the-trainer (TTT) coordination, and localization, ensuring alignment to business priorities and readiness milestones (e.g., Service Rehearsals and Go-Lives) – will also include training measurement.
  • Support execution / collection of Readiness & Sustainment Indicators to make sure we a ready for Go-Live and that we are driving adoption of critical behaviors.

Key responsibilities

  • sonas.Develop comprehensive, structured change management plans for complex organizational initiatives — covering stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and readiness activities — and own their end-to-end delivery.
  • Translate program milestones and structural decisions into sequenced change interventions, ensuring the right activities happen at the right time for impacted populations across regions and functions.
  • Maintain a clear view of interdependencies between workstreams, proactively identifying risks to adoption and proposing mitigations within the scope of the changeplan.
  • Track and report on change plan progress and readiness and adoption indicators,; use data to adjust activities and demonstrate tangible impact.

Stakeholder engagement & communications

  • Conduct stakeholder analyses and impact assessments to understand who is affected, how, and when — and use these to inform targeted engagement approaches.
  • Develop and execute multi-channel communication plans that bring structural changes to life in clear, honest, and audience-appropriate language across diverse employee groups.
  • Prepare and support leaders and managers in their change sponsorship roles, equipping them with talking points, FAQs, and conversation frameworks rather than leaving them to navigate change conversations alone.

Training & readiness

  • Assess training needs arising from structural changes and coordinate the design and delivery of targeted learning interventions to build new skills, behaviors, and ways of working.
  • Drive the change readiness and adoption approach at each go live.

Collaboration & ways of working

  • Work closely with program managers, HR Business Partners, and functional leads to integrate change activities into broader program plans.
  • Collaborate closely with change managers from interdependent teams.

Qualifications & experience

  • Required8–10 years of change management experience; career that spans both a management consultancy and an in-house role, preferred.
  • Proven track record owning and delivering change management plans for complex, large-scale organizational programs across multiple geographies or
  • functions.
  • Strong command of structured change management methodologies and the practical experience to adapt them to the realities of a fast-moving corporate environment.
  • Skilled communicator with the ability to craft clear messaging for a range of audiences an formats.
  • Highly organized and delivery-focused, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and hold plans on track across a matrixed, global organization.
  • Experience working across diverse regional and cultural contexts, with sensitivity to how change communication and engagement must be adapted by market. Collaborative contributor who builds relationships easily and influences effectively without authority
  • Experience delivering change within shared services transitions in a consumer goods or FMCG context preferred
