Position: Cinematography Lead for 3D Animations
Take the helm at Stellar as a Cinematography Lead for our Marvel Animation team. Drive creativity in visuals while supporting a cohesive team environment.
As a Previs/Layout Lead at Stellar, you will guide and mentor artists in developing exciting 3D worlds for beloved characters. You will take a hands-on approach in translating storyboards into immersive sequences, understanding the intricacies of camera placements and staging.
Your role ensures the balance of creative leadership and the well-being of the team while managing production demands.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise effective layout and previs production
• Direct hands-on lensing and blocking of sequences
• Manage and support camera/staging team dynamics
• Collaborate with editorial for seamless flows
• Track progress using Flow Production Tracking
Requirements:
• 5+ years in production roles, including leadership
• High-level understanding of cinematography in Maya
• Strong empathetic leadership and problem-solving
• Production experience with Flow Production Tracking
• Eligible to work in British Columbia
