We are hiring an experienced full-time Residential Painter to join our crew. If you take your craft seriously, show up every single day, and understand that the details are what separate a good paint job from a great one — we want to talk.
What you will be doing
Performing interior and exterior painting on premium homes throughout Jefferson County and the Thousand Islands region. Preparing surfaces through scraping, sanding, caulking, and priming. Applying paint, stain, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment. Protecting client property including floors, furniture, trim, and landscaping during all phases of the project. Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional job site at all times. Communicating professionally with clients and representing North Country Painters with pride on every job.
What we are looking for
Minimum 2 years of residential painting experience — interior and exterior. Strong surface preparation skills including scraping, sanding, filling, caulking, and priming. Ability to cut clean, precise lines without tape. Experience with brush, roller, and airless spray application. Comfortable working at heights on ladders and scaffolding on two and three story structures. Valid New York State driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites across Jefferson County. Detail oriented, quality driven, and takes genuine pride in finished work. Reliable, professional, and able to represent the company well in front of high-end residential clients. A team player who communicates openly and treats every client property with respect.
What we offer
Starting pay at $22.00 to $25.00 per hour based on demonstrated experience and skill. Full time W-2 employment at 40 hours per week. Weekly pay via direct deposit — no delays, no games. What to expect from the process
We run a two-stage interview process. If your experience and background look like a fit you will receive a brief phone call from Jacob, the owner, to discuss your background and availability. If that goes well we will schedule an in-person interview before making any offer. We take hiring seriously because the people on this crew represent North Country Painters on every job site in Jefferson County.
Pay range note
Starting pay is $22.00 per hour. Demonstrated experience, skill level, and performance during a two-week trial period will determine your final rate up to $25.00 per hour.
