Role Description
This is a contract, hybrid role based in Port of Spain, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Digital Community Manager will be responsible for shaping the brand’s online community and driving meaningful engagement across social platforms. They will develop strategies that turn followers into active participants, foster valuable conversations, and maintain a consistent, authentic brand voice. Using analytics and social listening, they will monitor sentiment, identify trends, and provide insights that guide content, creative direction, and campaign decisions. They will connect digital interactions with offline experiences, collaborating closely with PR, Customer Service, Influencer, and Creative teams to ensure a unified brand presence. The Digital Community Manager will also monitor for potential issues, manage sensitive situations with empathy, and support crisis communication when needed. Leveraging AI tools to enhance workflow, they will champion community-led growth, highlight advocates and ambassadors, and ensure that the brand’s social spaces remain vibrant, inclusive, and culturally relevant.
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to craft engaging and impactful messaging
- Proficiency in Social Media Management, Community Engagement, and Digital Analytics
- Experience in Content Creation, Copywriting, and Publishing across various platforms
- Knowledge of Marketing Strategies, Brand Awareness, and Online Advertising
- Proven ability to analyse social and consumer trends to influence campaigns
- Experience with tools such as social media management platforms and analytical tools
- Capability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment
- Prior experience in advertising or public relations is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field preferred
