Seasonal Laborer
Position Summary: Performs tasks involving physical labor on construction sites. May operate hand and power tools, clean and prepare sites, and assist other craft workers.
Duties:
· Read work orders or receive instructions from supervisors to determine work requirements
· Receive and follow instructions from craft workers
· Clean or prepare work site to eliminate possible hazards and make ready for craft workers
· Load, unload, and/or identify materials and tools for delivery/distribution to appropriate locations
· Assist craft workers with work as needed
· Operate tools and equipment as needed to perform work
· Clean work site upon project completion
· Drive company vehicle
· Other duties as assigned
Education, Knowledge and Skills:
· Valid Alaska Driver’s License with clean driving record required
· One year Laborer experience preferred
· Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in general construction and repair projects
· Able to communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers
· Able to provide own tools
· Able to climb ladders
· Able to lift 90 lbs.
· Able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs, and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, carrying, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials

Work Location: Includes all property owned by FDI
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. May include overtime and weekends.
Minimum Age: 21
