The Job:
The primary focusof this roleis email marketingandcraftingcampaignsthat capture attention, communicate our unique advantages, and ultimately drive bookings.
Additionally, this role will support and expand our presence across social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Linked In, and You Tube,regularly working with the team tohelp deliver value to our followers, and strengthening our voice in the adventure travel industry.
We are a data-driven company, and this role would require a candidate who’scomfortable using CRMs, marketing automations, and using accountability software like Asana.
Youmonitorresults,identify opportunities for improvement, and continuously refine messaging and strategy to increase engagement and conversion.
Ultimately, thisrole is the voice of Backcountry Journeys, and willshapehow we connect with our audience, communicate our value, and inspire photographers to join us on adventures around the world.

Core Responsibilities
- Drafting andschedulinghigh-qualitybrandedcontentacrossemails, blogs, and social platforms
- Building professional,visually-appealinggraphicsforuse across marketing content
- Analyzing trends and performance through our CRM and third-party platforms such as google analytics, etc.
- Responsible for approving, managing & editing copy & imagessubmittedbytrip leaders & 3rd party contributors
- Maintaining a unified brand visual style & cadence across marketing channels
- Regularly experimenting with marketing automation toolstohelp personalize content & improve engagement
- Organizing our marketing calendar to stay upto datewithtrip launches & promotional events
- Collaborating with team members to solve issues and brainstorm new initiatives
- Connecting with industry partners to explore opportunitiesforcontent & collaboration
Skills
- 2+ years of marketing expertise, including digital and e-communications
- Experience in website content development and management
- Experience creating content and developing targeted campaigns.
- Proven problem solver – ability to think ahead and multitask
- Critical attention to detail andhigh standards of organizational quality
- Positive, flexible, solution-oriented, and excited to work with a diverse team
