Content Creator (In-House | Kramerville, Sandton)
Overview
We are looking for a creative, commercially-minded Content Creator to take ownership ofour client’s social media presence and content direction.
This role is focused on building a personality-driven, sales-focused content engine that drives engagement, brand positioning, and ultimately sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a monthly content strategy aligned to business and sales objectives
- Conceptualise creative, high-impact content ideas that resonate with target audiences
- Create short-form and long-form video content for platforms such as Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, and Linked In
- Film and edit content (in-house showroom, on-site, lifestyle setups, etc.)
- Own the full content lifecycle
: - Manage social media platforms, including posting, captions, and community engagement
- Monitor content performance and optimise based on insights
- Stay up to date with trends and continuously bring fresh, relevant ideas
Content Focus
- Lifestyle and aspirational content (not just product-based)
- Storytelling that drives emotional connection and sales
Behind-the-scenes, transformations, and social proof
- Clear call-to-actions and sales-driven messaging
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong creative thinker with natural content instinct and originality
- Ability to think commercially — understands how content drives sales
- Confident in generating ideas independently and taking ownership
- Comfortable on-site, filming and directing content
- Basic to intermediate video editing skills (Premiere Pro, Cap Cut, etc.)
- Understanding of social media platforms and content trends
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to grow
Experience & Background
- 2–5 years experience in content creation, videography, or social media
- Portfolio of content (Tik Tok, Instagram, You Tube, etc.) required
- Experience in brand, lifestyle, or consumer-focused content advantageous
Salary Range
R25,000 – R35,000 per month (dependent on experience)
