As a Content Designer on PNC’s Digital team, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Columbus, OH, or Philadelphia, PA. You will collaborate with content designers, experience designers, agile development teams, and core product team members to create digital solutions that help people achieve their financial goals. You will play a key role in shaping product design and strategy, delivering an engaging, consistent, and accessible experience to our audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Support content creation and serve as a subject matter expert, working closely with other content and experience designers.
  • Identify problems and craft creative content solutions that educate and empower users.
  • Maintain and deliver content guidelines that provide consistent language and labeling across a range of touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with research partners to test content and gather feedback on experiences.
  • Shape the role of content in the design process and partner with product managers for legal, risk, and compliance reviews.
  • Conduct user research, create test plans, interview guides, test scripts, and analysis documents.
  • Communicate changes to content guidelines to stakeholders to ensure consistency across the product.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1‑2 years experience in UX with a foundational understanding of best practices and principles.
  • Experience designing user journeys (happy paths, sad paths, error states, etc.).
  • An online portfolio, writing samples, or published work to showcase content design expertise.
  • Experience with or understanding of agile development processes.

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university or college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job‑specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

EducationPay Transparency

Base Salary: $68,000.00 – $. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with payment based upon company, business, and/or individual performance.
