We are seeking a visionary Content Strategist / Copywriter to join our dynamic team. In line with our company's values of "go global" and "grow together," you will play a pivotal role in bringing our brand to life through words – scroll-stopping hooks, high-retention scripts, and captions that drive saves and shares – fostering a collaborative environment that drives our collective success.
Responsibilities:
- Write scripts and hooks for short-form video (Reels/TikTok/Shorts) based on creative briefs – own the first 3 seconds to stop the scroll
- Build viewer retention and watch time through storytelling and curiosity-driven hooks (knowledge gap)
- Write captions that add value rather than repeating the video
- Research local context across our operating countries and ensure accuracy of details
- Adapt global ideas to different markets without losing the brand's human, natural tone
- Work fast: consistently meet 48-hour turnaround when needed
- Work asynchronously with the SMM / Content Lead and deliver ready-to-use scripts and texts from briefs
Requirements:
- Have a proven portfolio with performance-backed content (examples of short videos that moved metrics)
- Have strong experience (2–3+ years) writing scripts for Reels/TikTok/Shorts
- Deeply understand hooks, retention, and storytelling in short-form content
- Can create curiosity-driven hooks (knowledge gap)
- Can work from briefs and deliver scripts without multiple iterations
- Understand the psychology of scrolling – what makes someone stop, watch, save, and share
- Are fluent in English at a native level (C2)
Strong advantage:
- Have experience with global / multi-market content
- Have worked with diverse cultural contexts
- Have a creator-first mindset (running your own blog or ghostwriting for creators)
