ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a sharp, brand-obsessed Content Strategist to own the full content engine at Divine Hindu — from brand storytelling and social media to UGC, ad creatives, and video production. This is a high-ownership role for someone who understands how to build genuine cultural connection with a conscious, faith-driven audience, and who can lead a content team to execute with consistency and creativity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Brand Storytelling & Strategy

  • Develop and own the brand's content narrative across all channels — rooted in authenticity, ritual, and purpose.
  • Define tone of voice, messaging pillars, and storytelling frameworks for Divine Hindu.
  • Translate brand strategy into content formats that resonate with the target audience (homemakers, spiritual seekers, conscious buyers).
  • Ensure brand consistency across every piece of content — captions, scripts, product descriptions, campaigns.

Social Media Content

  • Plan and manage monthly content calendars across Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms.
  • Write captions, hooks, and copy that drive engagement, saves, and shares.
  • Stay ahead of platform trends, audio trends, and format innovations (Reels, carousels, Stories, YouTube Shorts).
  • Monitor performance metrics and continuously refine the content strategy based on data.

UGC & Creator Collaboration

  • Develop briefs for UGC creators — defining the hook, narrative arc, CTA, and visual references.
  • Review and provide feedback on creator-submitted content to ensure brand alignment.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of UGC partners for ongoing content needs.
  • Repurpose UGC across paid and organic channels effectively.

Ad Video & Performance Content

  • Script and brief ad videos (Meta, YouTube) — with a strong grasp of performance storytelling and AIDA structure.
  • Collaborate with the design and video team to produce high-converting ad creatives.
  • Test multiple creative angles per campaign and track creative fatigue and performance trends.
  • Understand what makes D2C ad content convert — and apply that to every brief.

Team Leadership & Execution

  • Lead and mentor a small content team (writers, video editors, designers).
  • Manage content production timelines, reviews, and approvals end-to-end.
  • Set weekly/monthly content goals and hold the team accountable to delivery.
  • Build SOPs and templates to scale content output without compromising quality.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 2–5 years of experience in content strategy, brand content, or social media — D2C brand-side experience required (no agency-only profiles).
  • Prior experience scripting or briefing UGC and/or video ad content.
  • Strong writing skills — you can craft a compelling hook, a ritual-inspired caption, and a performance script with equal ease.
  • Hands-on experience managing an Instagram or YouTube channel for a consumer brand.
  • Ability to both ideate at a strategic level and roll up your sleeves to execute.
  • Experience managing or coordinating with a content team or creators.
  • High cultural awareness of Indian spirituality, rituals, and conscious living — or a genuine curiosity and respect for the same.
  • Familiarity with content performance tools (Meta Business Suite, Instagram Insights, YouTube Studio, or similar).

GOOD TO HAVE

  • Experience with brands in the spiritual, wellness, or lifestyle category.
  • Exposure to performance marketing and paid creative strategy.
  • Comfort with Canva, CapCut, or basic video editing tools for quick reviews/briefs.
  • Understanding of SEO-led content strategy for Instagram and YouTube.
