We are seeking an Industrial Coordinator to support account development and drive operation success in San Antonio, TX.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify vacancies and recruit candidates for current and upcoming job opportunities using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), job boards, and networking strategies.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates within the assigned territory; meet performance metrics established by direct supervisor.
- Review resumes, identify potential prospects, conduct interviews, and partner with candidates to ensure they meet client job requirements.
- Coordinate all aspects of assigned jobs from initiation to completion, serving as the primary point of contact for clients.
- Develop a thorough understanding of client requirements to ensure successful placement, compliance, and service delivery.
- Build and maintain working relationships with all current customers; visit assigned and prospective clients weekly or bi-weekly to strengthen partnerships and increase account growth.
- Support business development efforts, including pursuing sales prospects and identifying potential client opportunities during recruiting activities (approximately 10% of weekly responsibilities).
- Escort new employees to client worksites, introduce them to supervisors, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- Support walk-in employees at worksites and foster strong relationships at both employee and customer levels.
- Ensure employees are equipped with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain accurate timekeeping records by job location.
- Prepare personnel forecasts by client and assist in territory workforce projections and market analysis, including tracking industrial pay rates by craft.
- Provide employees and candidates with detailed information regarding company policies, job responsibilities, working conditions, and advancement opportunities.
- Attend offsite meetings, job fairs, client functions, and other recruiting-related events.
- Assist with recruitment needs across divisions, including maritime, when applicable.
- Maintain strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform additional HR, operational, and sales-related duties as assigned by direct supervisor.
Requirements:
- Minimum of two years related staffing experience in the Industrial or Maritime sectors.
- Must be organized and efficient.
- Proven track record in fast-paced environment
- Understands the urgency of staffing and can juggle multiple deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and can build lasting candidate and client relationships.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage competing priorities
- Willing to travel to job sites or client locations.
- Brings a team first attitude and genuine passion for connecting people with opportunities .
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
