draftLine is our award winning in-house agency. Creatives, strategists, producers, and marketers gathered from all over Europe revolutionizing the way we do marketing in our company. Based out of our central London office, with its own production studio and rooftop bar, we will work hand in hand with global and local marketing teams to develop top notch creative work.

The Role:

DraftLine is looking for a Creative Director (or CD Team) to work across some of the biggest beer brands in the world, including Budweiser, Corona and Stella Artois.

Reporting into the ECD/Head of Creative, this is a mid-level CD role for someone (or CD team) already operating at Creative Director level and ready to help raise the bar across our in-house agency portfolio.

You’ll bring strong conceptual leadership, sharp creative judgement and a deep understanding of social first thinking and what makes work resonate in culture. While you may occasionally touch activations and experiential, the core of the role is leading big, platform-smart ideas and driving excellent work across ATL, social, digital, film and photography.

This role is both hands-on and leadership-focused. You will lead junior creative teams and freelance talent, own workstreams across multiple brands, and help shape work from brief through to delivery with a consistently high creative standard.

We will consider single applicants as well as creative director team applications for the role.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of creative ideas across social, digital, film, photography, OOH, print and design
  • Drive strong conceptual thinking across projects, ensuring the work is strategically grounded, culturally relevant and creatively ambitious
  • Lead and direct junior creatives and freelancers, creating clarity, momentum and high standards across the work
  • Own workstreams across brands, ensuring projects move forward at pace and the output remains strong throughout
  • Create social first ideas that feel native to each platform, with a clear understanding of formats, creators, trends and what drives engagement
  • Be confident shaping and directing product and brand shoots, with a strong eye for detail across styling, composition, pack, label, liquid and the final 5%
  • Collaborate with Creatives, Designers, Copywriters, Strategists and Producers to push the thinking and protect the quality of the output

Who We're Looking For:

You will already be operating at Creative Director level, with experience leading creative work from initial concept through to delivery. You’ll be comfortable owning projects and workstreams, leading teams, partnering with stakeholders, and working closely with production to bring ideas to life at a high standard. You should be confident balancing hands-on involvement with creative leadership through others.

Experience In Alcohol Category Is Preferred.

  • Existing experience as a Creative Director (or CD Team)
  • Experience leading communications across multiple channels, with clear strength in social first creative
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual thinking and high craft across social and digital, with film and photography strongly preferred.
  • Portfolio (Candidates without Portfolios will not be considered)
  • Experience leading or directing other creatives and freelancers
  • Confidence presenting and defending work with senior stakeholders
  • A start-up mindset with a can-do attitude, and the confidence to shape the role proactively
  • Strong creative judgement and a high bar for craft and quality
  • Proven conceptual thinking and problem solving
  • Organisation and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at pace
  • Collaborative, proactive team working
