Title: Creative-led IMC AGENCY – Senior Copywriter

I/ JOB PURPOSE: The Senior Copywriter is the person who cracks the brief and writes the work that carries the campaign. You don't wait for a direction to be handed down, you dig into the problem, find the angle, develop the concept, and write the pieces that make the idea land.
II/ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creative & Copy Development (80% workload)
A/ Creative Development:
• Develop creative concepts end-to-end for IMC campaign across multi-channel
• Craft campaign messaging including taglines, key messages, and communication angles that give each campaign a clear point of view
• Partner with Art Directors to co-develop concepts where copy and visual work as one idea from brainstorm through to execution.
• Support the Creative Director to translate creative platforms into copy strategy and messaging architecture across channels.
• Partner with Strategic Planning and Account teams to make sure creative idea is grounded in business context and client objectives.
• Support Creative Manager & Creative Director in client presentations when needed: sell the idea, explain the thinking behind it, and adapt direction based on feedback.
B/ Campaign Copy:
• Write key campaign pieces such as scripts, manifestos, headlines, social copy ..
• Follow through on copy during production — review scripts, supers, subtitles, voice-over recordings, and print proofs to make sure the final output matches the approved copy.
Industry Awareness (10% workload)
• Stay updated on language trends, cultural nuances, and platform-specific content behavior to keep the agency's copy relevant and current.
Team Development & Culture (10% Workload)
• Mentor Junior Copywriters by giving specific and constructive feedback that helps them improve not only their deliverables but also their craft and their thinking.
• Contribute to company culture initiatives and cross-department collaboration.
III/ JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education & experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Literature or related fields.
• 3–5 years of copywriting experience in an agency environment.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating both conceptual thinking (Big Ideas, campaign concepts) and copy craft across multiple channels.
• Experience working on IMC campaigns.
Knowledge & Skills:
• Strong conceptual thinking, ability to develop creative approaches and Big Ideas.
• Excellent Vietnamese copy craft (tone, rhythm, wordplay, and the ability to write for different brand voices…)
• Able to write, review, and present in English for bilingual client contexts.
• Understanding of social-first content, platform-native copy behavior, and how copy works within integrated campaign ecosystems.
• Comfortable partnering with Art Directors – can think visually enough to co-develop concepts.
