Position: Creative Link Designer Opportunity
Join BCITSA as a Link Designer, where you will craft innovative designs for Link Magazine while fostering a culture of equity and diversity. This role requires expertise in layout and art direction.
In this vibrant design position, you will develop engaging layouts for Link Magazine using Adobe InDesign. Students with a passion for design are encouraged to contribute their ideas actively. You will guide freelance contributors and ensure the magazine reflects BCITSA’s commitment to inclusivity and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design visually appealing article layouts for print
• Collaborate on planning each magazine issue’s aesthetic
• Prepare guidelines for freelance design contributions
• Research trends for social media content planning
• Participate in marketing and promotional efforts
Requirements:
• Current BCIT student status required
• Relevant education in graphic design preferred
• Intermediate to advanced InDesign skills needed
• Must have access to required software and hardware
• Be available to work from the Burnaby Campus
