We are a startup digital media buying team focused on B2B brands going global, serving manufacturers and industrial equipment exporters with paid advertising and lead growth. You will work hands-on with core client accounts, with clear paths to leadership as we scale.
Role overview
This role is based at one of Ocany's strategic partners. Own the ad creative production line: lead the video editor and designer team, take briefs from media buyers, translate performance data into creative direction, and ensure high-quality, high-velocity output against the testing plan. This role is the translator between data and creativity — you understand both production craft and media metrics.
A. Responsibilities
1. Creative Production Management (Core)
• Manage editors' and designers' daily work: task allocation, scheduling, quality control, priority management
• Build the creative pipeline: standardized flow from brief intake through script/storyboard, production, review, and delivery
• Guarantee throughput: deliver video and static creatives on schedule per each client's testing plan
2. Media Buying Collaboration
• Partner with media buyers: digest testing plans and performance feedback (CTR, hook rate, CPL) and turn them into concrete creative iterations
• Join creative review sessions: analyze winning vs. losing ads and codify creative playbooks by client and industry
• Co-own brief templates and asset naming conventions with the buying team for smooth collaboration and traceable data
3. Creative Strategy
• Understand overseas audiences and B2B buying contexts; lead creative concepts: value-prop angles, script directions, visual styles
• Track creative trends across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube native formats to keep output competitive
• Own quality control on English copy and localization for target markets
4. Team & Systems
• Recruit, develop, and evaluate creative team members; set growth plans
• Build the asset library and template system to increase reuse and lower marginal cost
• Manage external resources (freelance editors, production vendors) for peak demand
B. Requirements
1. Must-Have
• 3+ years in ad creative production or creative team management, including 1+ year leading a team of 2+
• Fluent in performance creative logic: the first 3 seconds, hook design, creative fatigue and iteration cadence
• Reads core media metrics (CTR, CPM, CPL, hook rate) and adjusts creative direction accordingly
• Commands the production toolchain and can coach the team: editing (Premiere/CapCuts) and design (Photoshop/Figma/Canva)
• Strong written English, able to QC English ad copy
• Project management chops: prioritizes and protects deadlines across multiple clients and parallel tasks
2. Preferred
• Hands-on overseas ad creative experience with proven winning ads (Meta/TikTok/Google)
• B2B, industrial, or globalization service background; can translate technical product features into buyer benefits
• Agency experience in a multi-client environment
• Uses AI production tools (Midjourneys, Runway, AI voiceover) to boost team efficiency
