Empire’s team is growing, and we are seeking an organized, resourceful and energetic NYC based candidate for the Creative Production Associate position, starting immediately as a temporary contract-to-hire.

This role requires to work in the office located in Soho four to three days a week, with the ability to work remotely once a week, contingent on projects' schedule, generally from 9:00AM-6:00 PM ET. 

The Creative Production Associate is a critical role of the organization; an extremely detail-oriented, hardworking, efficient professional who is the master of multitasking and who creatively and strategically approaches their tasks to provide optimal solutions for the projects and team they support. This position will begin as a six-month contract with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role.

This role reports to the SVP of Creative and works closely with the Creative & Marketing Manager to support the creative team, projects, and marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily administrative support to members of the creative team including (but not limited to) scheduling, vendor tracking, invoice processing, presentation building, furniture and decor procurement
  • Provide social media and marketing support under the direction of the Creative & Marketing Manager, including asset creation, tracking, and basic website updates
  • Support on-site and virtual event logistics and research & planning by helping to build and maintain event production timelines, tracking deliveries and rentals, and assisting with event details as needed under the supervision of the Event Lead
  • Work with vendors and venues on general logistics under the direction of the Event Lead
  • Support internal sales efforts by assisting with proposal materials and pitch decks (formatting, asset gathering, presentation preparation)
  • Stay informed on relevant event industry trends, new products, and vendor resources that may benefit Empire and its clients
  • Assist with managing daily creative project flow & prioritization
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid team environment

Skills Required

  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, and ever-changing environment while projecting grace under pressure
  • 2+ years of experience at a creative agency, in events or similar
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Dropbox, Slack, and other organizational apps as needed
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to get “hands dirty” on site for events, with potentially long hours
  • Ability to work overtime, on weekends, and travel occasionally when needed.
  • Experience working in Adobe Creative Suite applications and/or Canva preferred but not required
