About this position:
Newzip is looking to hire a Customer Success Specialist to join our Home Advising Team. We’re looking for a driven, hard-working individual who will thrive in a startup environment. You’ll be an integral part of helping Newzip grow by qualifying and nurturing leads, handling objections, and moving potential clients through the sales pipeline. The selected candidate will work cross-functionally to optimize and incorporate both customer service and retention into the overall consumer experience. This person acts as the customer advocate to ensure timely and positive outcomes. This is a critical role that will help ensure Newzip is successful in its next phase of growth.
In this role, you will:
- Be responsible for expanding Newzip’s customer base by initiating the first outreach with potential customers in “real-time”
- Develop and maintain an ongoing professional relationship with new and existing leads, customers, mortgage partners, and real estate partners
- Communicate with leads, customers, and partners on a regular basis via call, text, and email
- Present Newzip’s value proposition to leads
- Ensure a successful “handshake” takes place between buyers/sellers and real estate agents to create “stickiness”
- Manage and report on lead and sales pipelines
- Collaborate with customer support and development teams
- Implement new experience strategies and tactics
- Facilitate communication as needed between agents and buyers/sellers
- Have a direct and immediate impact on the success of Newzip
- Perform other duties as needed
You might be a great fit for this role if…
- 2+ years experience in an inside sales role or as a real estate agent
- Experience with cold calling
- Comfortable in a competitive, high-performance, target driven environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience working with call centers a plus
- Interest in customer service and support
- Proven track record of achieving targets and driving results
- Results-oriented, detail-oriented, and precise
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Growth mindset – someone who is ready to take on a role in an early-stage startup and grow with the company
- Experience with CRM systems (i.e HubSpot, Salesforce)
- Real estate experience a plus
- Real estate license a plus
- Startup experience a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
