Position: Join Our Dance Team for Social Justice Performances
A unique opportunity awaits! We are searching for dedicated dancers who are passionate about social justice to join our production, The Fourth R, with festivals slated in Toronto and Edinburgh.
This project seeks dancers willing to engage in meaningful performance art that addresses critical social issues. As part of our collaborative company, you will engage in rehearsals and performances that highlight activism through the art of dance. Bring your skills and positive energy to a team that emphasizes transparency and mutual respect.
Key Responsibilities:
• Attend required 44 hours of rehearsal sessions
• Perform at Toronto Fringe & Edinburgh Fringe
• Adapt to existing choreography with your unique interpretation
• Share accommodations on tour for Edinburgh
• Fulfill assigned character roles at the festival
Requirements:
• Passionate about dance and societal issues
• Availability for both festival performances
• Experience in artistic collaboration
• Ability to voice personal narratives in dance
