ALISONDAMONTE is a San Francisco-based interior design studio. About the Role

As a Design Assistant, you will support the entire design team across all phases of projects. This role is suited to a junior-level designer early in their career. You will gain hands-on exposure to design development, documentation, sourcing, and studio operations, building foundational skills within a highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design team across active projects
  • Assist with AutoCAD drawings and updates
  • Create basic SketchUp models
  • Assist with client presentations (Photoshop, InDesign, Google Suite)
  • Organize materials, samples, and vendor information
  • Maintain the materials and styling libraries
  • Support procurement tracking and project documentation
  • Assist at site visits and vendor and client meetings
  • Maintain organized project files and studio systems
  • Provide general studio and administrative support

Qualifications

  • Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field (or in progress) preferred
  • 0–2 years of experience
  • AutoCAD and SketchUp experience preferred
  • Adobe Creative Suite and Google Suite proficiency
  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • Proactive, curious, and eager to learn
  • Strong communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license and local travel required
