About the Role
As a Design Assistant, you will support the entire design team across all phases of projects. This role is suited to a junior-level designer early in their career. You will gain hands-on exposure to design development, documentation, sourcing, and studio operations, building foundational skills within a highly collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the design team across active projects
- Assist with AutoCAD drawings and updates
- Create basic SketchUp models
- Assist with client presentations (Photoshop, InDesign, Google Suite)
- Organize materials, samples, and vendor information
- Maintain the materials and styling libraries
- Support procurement tracking and project documentation
- Assist at site visits and vendor and client meetings
- Maintain organized project files and studio systems
- Provide general studio and administrative support
Qualifications
- Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field (or in progress) preferred
- 0–2 years of experience
- AutoCAD and SketchUp experience preferred
- Adobe Creative Suite and Google Suite proficiency
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Proactive, curious, and eager to learn
- Strong communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and local travel required
