Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth research and analyse current and future fashion trends, interpreting emerging ideas through a commercial lens.
  • Actively participate in the development and presentation of upcoming trend materials.
  • Research and develop new fabrics, finishes, treatments, and trims respecting budget constraints while strengthening brand identity.
  • Collaborate closely with the buying team throughout the product creation process.
  • Design innovative, commercially viable, high-quality products tailored to our clientele.
  • Create technical drawings and tech packs for products in our exclusive collections.
  • Partner with technical designers during fittings and provide detailed feedback.
  • Work alongside the production team to align manufacturing capabilities with our quality standards,optimizing timelines and value.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in fashion design, graphic design, product design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with production, buying, and sourcing teams.
  • Ability to clearly communicate ideas and receive feedback constructively.
  • A natural curiosity and solid fashion culture, with a strong grasp of both current and historical influences and trends.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and adapt calmly to tight deadlines and unforeseen challenges.
  • Flexibility to respond quickly to changes in design demands, last‑minute adjustments, and evolving market needs.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills in both French and English to collaborate with all stakeholders.
