Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Die Cutting Foil Operator based in Dhaka. The Die Cutting Foil Operator will set up, operate, and monitor die cutting and foil stamping machines according to production specifications. Daily tasks include preparing materials, loading and unloading machines, adjusting settings for pressure, alignment, and temperature, and performing routine quality checks on finished goods. The role also involves basic machine maintenance, cleaning work areas, reporting any mechanical issues, and following safety protocols and production schedules. The operator will work closely with supervisors and production team members to meet output targets and maintain high-quality standards.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience operating die cutting, foil stamping, or similar printing/finishing machinery, preferably in a trims, packaging, or printing environment.
- Ability to read and follow production orders, specifications, and basic technical instructions related to machine set-up and operation.
- Strong attention to detail, including accurate alignment, cutting precision, and visual inspection of color, finish, and print quality.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for making minor adjustments, troubleshooting simple issues, and performing routine machine cleaning and maintenance.
- Commitment to workplace safety, including proper use of personal protective equipment and adherence to company safety guidelines.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials within reasonable limits, and work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with supervisors, helpers, and other machine operators.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or factory operations is preferred; vocational or technical training related to printing or machinery is an advantage.
- Willingness to work designated shifts and overtime when required to meet production deadlines.
