Digital Design Specialist
Position Summary:
Part‑time (up to 24 hours per week) Digital Design Specialist for the Public Health & Human Science Administration at Oregon State University.
Responsibilities:
- Design marketing materials such as flyers, digital signage, graphics, and promotional pieces.
- Produce short‑form videos for Instagram and Tik Tok.
- Create visuals and content for social media channels highlighting Oregon State University and College of Health students.
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications manager to maintain consistent branding and messaging.
- Follow OSU brand guidelines.
- Assist the Social Media Specialist with content planning.
- Support other digital media and marketing projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Student enrolled in a high school, community college, or university; must meet enrollment and academic standing requirements.
- Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Express, Canva, Figma, or Photoshop.
- Comfortable being on‑camera; confident in video production.
- Organized and communicative; artistic eye.
- Willingness to experiment with design and video techniques and to share personal student experiences.
- Own a laptop and smartphone for design and video creation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active personal accounts on Instagram and Tik Tok.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and digital video editing tools.
- Experience creating short‑form videos.
- Active in clubs and activities; interest in health and well‑being promotion.
- Ability to work full 20 hours per week.
Compensation: $15.05–$21.50 per hour (standard rates; varies by urban/suburban classification). Hourly, paid bi‑weekly.
