Digital Prepress Specialist
Digital prepress specialist needed for Rochester area digital print shop. We would need someone to preflight, correct and proof jobs to customers. We have various digital printers that need to be operated, as well as a wide format sign shop. You must be dependable and able to multi-task as well as work all fields of our Digital Department. Knowledge of wide format printing and operating digital printers is a plus but will train.

We have various digital printers that need to be operated, as well as a wide format sign shop. You must be dependable and able to multi-task as well as work all fields of our Digital Department. Knowledge of wide format printing and operating digital printers is a plus but will train.
Responsibilities:
Perform preflight and proofing for each job
Editing of digital files
Provide data merge of variable data for files
Operate and maintain digital printing equipment
Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of equipment
Perform quality control checks to ensure printed materials meet specifications
Flexibility for other shop functions
Must have extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• Be able to create variable data files
• Be able to preflight, correct and proof files to customers
• Knowledge of Digital and Wide Format printing
• Imposition files for printing
• Ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues
Experience:
– Previous experience operating digital printing equipment
– Familiarity with color management techniques and software tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite
– Experience with quality control procedures to ensure accurate and consistent prints
• Minimum 2 years experience

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 – $24.00 per hour
