Director of Photography Jobs in Los Angeles Metropolitan Area at DramaByte
Title: Director of Photography
Company: DramaByte
Location: Los Angeles Metropolitan Area
Company Description
DramaByte is an innovative, fast-moving AI entertainment startup building the future of mobile-first drama and we're just getting started. We combine cutting-edge AI production tools with original short-form series designed for the way people actually watch today: on their phones, on their terms. Think premium storytelling meets tech startup energy. We're based in the USA and moving fast — dramabyte.com is where it all lives.
Role Description
We're looking for a Director of Photography to join us on a contract basis in the Los Angeles area as we build out our slate of original drama series. This isn't a corporate gig, it's a ground-floor opportunity to help shape the visual identity of a brand-new streaming platform. You'll work closely with our creative team to craft cinematic visuals optimized for mobile-first formats (vertical and horizontal), bringing real drama to the small screen in a big way. Production is fast and focused — typically a 1 to 2 day shoot per project. For the right person, this contract role comes with real opportunities for advancement as DramaByte grows — we're building a team, not just filling a seat. If you love the craft, move fast, and want your work to actually matter — this is your shot.
Compensation: $400 flat rate per project.
