Your role
As an event marketing specialist you will support the planning and delivery of high-profile conferences and client events across the Investment Bank. Working closely with senior event marketers, marketing strategists and business stakeholders, you will be responsible for logistics coordination, onsite delivery and client experience.
You will play a critical role in ensuring events are delivered to the highest standards, on time and within budget, while operating within a highly regulated environment. You will:
– support the end to end delivery of investor conferences, client events and roadshows
– coordinate event logistics including agendas, speakers, travel, venues, production and onsite operations
– identify, manage and escalate event related risks, ensuring appropriate controls are in place
– manage client registration processes and contribute to a best in class client experience
– liaise with internal stakeholders including Research, Global Markets, Global Banking, Corporate Access and Marketing
– coordinate third party vendors such as venues, catering, audio visual and transport providers
– support budget tracking, expense management and post event reconciliation
– assist with event marketing materials in line with UBS brand standards
– support post event reporting, including attendance metrics and feedback
– ensure all activity complies with internal policies, legal and regulatory requirements
– lead smaller scale events or components of larger conferences under guidance
– maintain awareness of general market news, sector trends and topical themes, and where relevant, contribute ideas or suggestions to conference agendas in partnership with stakeholders

Your team
You will be part of the Investment Bank Event Marketing team, working across conferences, events and roadshows globally. The team partners closely with Corporate Access, Research, Global Markets & Global Banking as well as Corporate Communications, Sponsorship & Branding to deliver impactful client engagement in a highly regulated, high performance environment.
Your expertise
You have:
– 2–4 years’ experience in event marketing, conference management or a related role
– Experience supporting the delivery of events with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines
– experience leading smaller scale events
– strong organisational skills with close attention to detail
– the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast moving environment
– strong communication and stakeholder management skills
– experience working with vendors and budgets
– familiarity with event technology platforms and registration tools
– interest in financial markets or experience within financial services (advantageous)
