About Flashbulb

Flashbulb was founded in 2016 to create Trailmakers. Today we’re 33 developers based in central Copenhagen, focused on building the world’s best building game.

We’re a team of specialists who know our craft and trust each other to deliver.

We have also made the party game Rubber Bandits.

In September 2025, we bought the company back from Nordisk Film. That means there’s very little distance from idea to action. We expect everyone to take ownership of both the game and the team around them.

We care a lot about maintaining an open and friendly environment where initiative is valued and decisions are made transparently. Our ambition is clear: to become the leading studio in the building game genre.
