Position: Expert Surfacing Artist Needed for High-Quality Animation Projects

In this role, you will play a vital part in the production team, applying your artistic eye and technical know-how to develop and optimize surfaces that define the experience of our animation. Collaborate with an enthusiastic team, where communication and support are core values, ensuring your creative vision shines through in every frame.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create stunning textures adhering to artistic direction
• Refine shader networks to enhance rendering performance
• Develop reusable materials for efficient production
• Work closely with artists and supervisors across departments
• Guide Junior team members, sharing your expertise
Requirements:
• Experience range of 1-2 years (Junior) to 5+ years (Senior)
• Proficiency in key painting software (Mari, Substance Painter)
• Deep understanding of color design and painting techniques
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in 3D arts
• Legally eligible to work in British Columbia, Canada
