Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad for a Senior Fashion Designer. The selected candidate will collaborate on designing and developing luxurious ethnic wear collections, incorporating traditional craft techniques and modern design principles. Responsibilities include creating design concepts, selecting textiles, ensuring high-quality embroidery and other detailing, and coordinating fittings. The Fashion Designer will work closely with artisans and production teams to bring innovative and culturally rooted designs to life.
Qualifications
Strong background in Fashion Design and Textiles
Expertise in Embroidery and intricate crafting techniques
Proficiency in designing and ensuring precise garment Fitting
Knowledge of Indian ethnic wear design trends and cultural inspirations
Creative vision with attention to detail and excellent time management
Ability to collaborate with artisans and production teams effectively
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field
Experience in luxury or ethnic wear design is a plus
