Key Responsibilities: (What are the top 4 focus areas of the job, Safety First is required)
- Carry out repair, disassembly, assembly, flushing, adjustment, and maintenance of the mechanical parts, units, and mechanisms of equipment;
- Identify and eliminate defects during equipment operation and during inspection in the repair process;
- Check accuracy and perform load testing of repaired equipment;
- Perform painting, marking, and lubrication of the serviced equipment;
- Take oil samples and replace oil;
- Carry out disassembly, assembly, flushing, testing, lubrication, acceptance, and preventive maintenance of tools in use;
- Perform rigging and slinging operations using lifting mechanisms and special devices;
- Carry out mechanical fitting/bench work on equipment parts.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: (Add MAX 4 bullets of desired eligibility requirements)
- Secondary vocational education;
- At least 3 years of experience as a fitter for equipment repair and maintenance;
- Experience in repairing construction and heavy equipment will be an advantage;
- PC user skills.
