Your Impact
As a Flavour Technologist, you’ll drive flavour development and optimisation across Asahi’s beverage portfolio. Working in our in-house Flavour Development team in Wodonga, NSW, your work will directly enhance product taste, cost efficiency, and in-house flavour manufacturing capabilities, contributing to both innovation and commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate new and optimise existing flavours, colours, and extracts for production, focussing on cost, performance, and consumer taste preference
- Apply analytical tools to assess flavour composition and validate shelf-life.
- Validate developed flavours in application to ensure taste in final beverage and ensure taste delivery across the product shelf-life.
- Manage technical data and ERP systems to ensure compliance to internal quality standards and regulations.
- Champion safety, quality, and environmental standards in both lab and production environments
About You
You have a strong foundation in quality or manufacturing processes and a passion for creating products consumers love. You’re highly attentive to detail, hands-on, and confident managing projects from concept to implementation.
You’ll Also Bring
- Previous experience in a quality, food science or a manufacturing role within the food, beverage or pharmaceutical industry
- A practical, analytical mindset with experience in scientific/quality testing and sensory evaluation
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, self-directed working style
