A Webtoon artist is seeking a skilled 2D Animator to create a short, animated trailer for an upcoming Webtoon series. The trailer will feature a single character speaking directly to the audience to announce the series’ release date. This role requires strong character animation and expressive acting skills to bring the character’s personality to life. The animator will work from a provided character reference and collaborate remotely, with final delivery expected by late October.
This is a one-time project with flexibility around the length of engagement based on mutual agreement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in 2D character animation
- Strong skills in expressive character acting and lip-sync animation
- Ability to animate based on provided character references
- Proficiency with animation software such as Toon Boom, Adobe Animate, or equivalent
- Strong sense of timing, emotion, and visual storytelling
- Ability to deliver a polished final product by late October
- Effective remote communication and project coordination
- Experience with trailers, teasers, or promotional animation is a plus
- Access to a reliable workstation and high-speed internet connection
