We are looking for an experienced Game Math Lead to join a growing game development team and play a key role in creating engaging game experiences for global markets.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on mathematical design and leading a team of mathematicians, while collaborating closely with designers, artists, and developers throughout the game development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate mathematical models for slot games.
- Define RTP, volatility, hit frequency, bonus mechanics, and game balancing.
- Create and review simulations to ensure mathematical accuracy and desired player experience.
- Lead and mentor mathematicians, providing technical guidance and best practices.
- Work closely with Game Designers, Producers, Artists, and Developers to bring game concepts to life.
- Review math documentation and support game certification requirements when needed.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of game math frameworks, tools, and processes.
- Analyze game performance and provide recommendations for optimization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Game Mathematics, preferably within slot games.
- Strong knowledge of probability, statistics, combinatorics, and game balancing.
- Experience designing RTP, volatility models, bonus features, and reward structures.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with simulation tools.
- Programming experience with C#, C++, Python, VBA, or similar languages is a plus.
- Previous experience mentoring or leading mathematicians is preferred.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Professional English communication skills.
