The Role
We are looking for a data-driven Performance Copywriter who understands that great copy isn't just creative—it converts. You will write high-converting advertorials and long-form sales copy targeting mature, skeptical audiences (45+) for D2C brands in the health, beauty, and supplement niches (e.g., probiotic skincare, joint supplements, anti-stress drinks).
You won’t just write; you will analyze data, dig into target audience psychology, and utilize modern AI pipelines to scale content without sacrificing human quality.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Write High-Converting Copy: Craft compelling advertorials and long-form sales copy that addresses skeptical target audiences and overcomes deep-seated objections.
- Uncover Winning Angles: Conduct deep-dive research into customer reviews, forums, support tickets, and ad data to find the true buying motives and build powerful hooks.
- Leverage AI Pipelines: Work efficiently with our internal AI workflows. You will use AI to generate initial drafts, but you must meticulously refine and polish the copy so it is completely indistinguishable from human writing.
- Analyze & Optimize: Read your own performance numbers. If an advertorial has a weak CTR, you will immediately diagnose whether the problem lies in the hook, lead, or angle, and launch an optimized variant within 24 hours.
- Deliver High Volume: Work comfortably in rapid testing cycles. You understand that pragmatism beats misplaced perfectionism when scaling ROAS.
Your Profile
Must-Haves:
- Experience: 2–3+ years of direct-response or performance copywriting experience (agency or freelance), ideally in a D2C environment.
- Language: Native-level German (C2) is non-negotiable; strong English skills are a major plus.
- Copy Mechanics: Complete mastery of direct-response frameworks: Hooks, PAS (Problem-Agitation-Solution), Mechanisms, Proof, Objection Handling, and strong CTAs.
- AI-Forward Mindset: Openness to using AI tools and the skill to elevate raw AI outputs into premium, high-converting copy.
- Autonomy: A self-motivated individual who thrives without micromanagement and reliably hits deadlines.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience writing advertorial formats for native ad platforms (Taboola, Outbrain).
- Deep industry know-how in the health, beauty, wellness, or supplement sectors.
- Familiarity with the Google Ads ecosystem.
